Tamarack Horsemanship Academy at Tamarack Stables in Lorton, Virginia is opening up our Spring Homeschool Horsemanship Riding Program, and we would love to welcome new students.

Tamarack Stables has proudly been part of the Lorton community for over 65 years, introducing generations of riders to horses and horsemanship.

This program gives homeschool students a hands-on experience with horses, helping build confidence, responsibility, and real horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle.

Homeschool Lesson Opportunities

Small Group Lessons

• 1.5 hour sessions

• Special homeschool rate – $40 per session (nearly half price)

Private Lessons

• 45 minute or 1.5 hour lessons

• Discounted homeschool pricing available

Available Monday–Friday before 4:00 PM

All ages and experience levels welcome.

Students Learn

• Horse care and grooming

• Tack and equipment use

• Riding fundamentals and balance

• Horsemanship and confidence with horses

Whether your student is new to horses or already riding, we offer a welcoming and supportive environment to learn and grow.
