Private Lessons
At Tamarack Stables, we offer personalized private riding lessons tailored to each rider’s age, skill level, and goals. For riders 8 years old and over, we provide hour-long lessons that focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and safe riding practices. For our younger riders, under the age of 8, we offer half-hour lessons designed to introduce them to the joy of horseback riding in a safe, supportive environment.
Our experienced instructors prioritize safety, proper technique, and horsemanship, ensuring that every rider develops a solid foundation from the ground up. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, Tamarack Stables is the perfect place to grow your passion for riding.
Group Lessons
Tamarack Stables offers fun and engaging group riding lessons for riders aged 8 and up. Our group classes are thoughtfully divided by skill level, ensuring that each rider receives instruction appropriate to their experience and goals.
Lessons run in seasonal sessions, providing consistency and progression throughout the year. We are currently in our spring session, which runs until June 16th, with the summer session beginning immediately afterward.
New riders are welcome to join mid-session after completing a required evaluation lesson to determine the best group placement. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your riding skills, Tamarack Stables provides a supportive and structured environment for every level.
